Good Morning everyone, I've been tasked with exploring vehicle fueling system options for the city. We currently own a Petrovend K800 terminal, while the fuel tanks and pumps are leased from RelaDyne. I'm interested in knowing which fuel vendors other municipalities are utilizing and whether they offer equipment provisions or if municipalities own the equipment outright.
Thanks in advance
P.S
Looks like enterprise is making their rounds again, they nagged my finance director until she gave in and we had a meeting with them last week. Sales guy was very persistent but in the end we were able to justify maintaining all services in-house as they currently are.
We own our two USTs, have Fuelmaster for fuel dispensing and Veeder Root for tank monitoring. We spot bid every fuel purchase.
Good luck.
Arlington Heights has 3 12,000 gallon USTs, 2 unleaded and 1 diesel. We have a Fuelmaster system for dispensing and Veeder Root for tank monitoring. We had several upgrades done recently using a grant from the USDA's Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP). The grant pays for 50% of the project and can be used to replace USTs. We upgraded our dispensers and added a DEF dispenser. We did not replace the USTs at this point although they are 30 years old.
Hanover Park owns 3 USTs at 1 site. Fuelmaster vending system, Veeder Root tank monitor.
Our USTs are almost 40 years old, would love nothing more than to remove them and go with an above ground system, with no OSFM inspections.
No issues with Fuelmaster, we ran AIM systems on squad cars, but we are transitioning them back to the chip-key format.
We have an interface program written to export/import transactions and mileages into CFA.
We purchase our fuel through Dupage county contract (Currently Al Warren).
