We stopped buying light duty Ford trucks with diesel engines back in 2012 because of plugging EGR coolers. Is anybody experiencing issues with newer Ford diesels in around town usage? The reason I\\\'m asking is we are replacing a bucket truck and the longer wheelbase with the extended cab is only available with a diesel. Thanks for your input.

Just playing around on Ford's website it seems like you can get all the suspension and payload upgrades with the 7.3 in the F550 extended cab 192"WB but when you select the High Capacity Trailer Tow Package is when it kicks it over to the 6.7.
